Steve, Juliet and all the staff warmly welcome you to The
Old Inn, a traditional family run Country Inn . . . just the
way they used to be!
Situated in the heart of the beautiful South Hams, halfway between
Totnes and Kingsbridge, we provide good quality food using fresh
locally sourced produce all cooked to order.
We are open for lunch,
afternoon tea and dinner every day which can be consumed either
inside or in the beer garden.
The pub was originally built in
the 14th century, and in its current form in 1874 after a fire
destroyed the building. Juliet and Steve are
bringing it into the 20th century whilst keeping
the traditional character.
The Old Inn is lucky to have a large garden
and patio for those long hot summer days. This
year they have introduced fencing and raised
planters to add extra seating and safety for
the visiting families.
There are a selection of local and West Country beers
with Otter Ales taking a permanent position
at the bar.
The Old Inn has its own mascot in the form of their performing dog
SADIE. She entertains the young and old with a bar mat catching trick
and she even has her own yearly calendar. The Old Inn is a dog and
child friendly establishment as long as they are with well-behaved
parents/owners. |
